    Your device supports eSIM

Almost all iPhones from XS onward, recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models support eSIM. Use the search below to be sure.

  2. 2

    Your device is unlocked

Devices you buy outright are usually unlocked. If yours came with a contract, check with your provider just to be sure.

What does your brand support?

A quick guide per brand. The search above works on model — this is the bigger picture.

Apple iPhone

iPhone XS, XR and newer

From iPhone 14 (US models) there is no physical SIM slot. European models support dual SIM with eSIM.

Galaxy S20 and newer, Z Fold / Flip, recent A series

On most Galaxy models the eSIM works alongside your regular SIM. Note 20 supports eSIM as well.

Google Pixel

Pixel 3 and newer (non-Japan models)

Pixel devices bought in Japan don't support eSIM. European versions do.

Other devices

Selected Motorola, Huawei, Sony, OnePlus

On less common devices, support varies by model and region. Look up your model or email support — we're happy to check.

Common questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most about your phone and the eSIM.

Will my regular number keep working?

Yes. You only use the eSIM for mobile data. Your regular SIM stays active for calls, texts and WhatsApp.

What is a SIM lock?

A SIM lock means your device only works with one provider's SIM card. Most newer phones sold in Europe are unlocked, but older contract phones may still be locked.

What if my model isn't listed?

We can usually still check it. Email the exact model number to support and we'll confirm before you order.

Does it work in every country?

If your device supports eSIM, it works in every country holySim offers. Browse the destinations for the offer per country.
